Bosnich could become Mariners Mini Marquee

REPORTS are starting to filter out from the Central Coast that the Mariners have offered ex-Socceroo Mark Bosnich a guest player position with the club for Version 4 of the Hyundai A-League.

The plan is to have the ex-Manchester Utd and Chelsea gloves-man play the first seven games of the season as a replacement for the suspended Ref-Slapper, Danny Vukovic.

Socceroos replace Japan as Asia’s highest ranked team

The Socceroos are now ranked above Japan as Asia’s highest-ranked team after the latest FIFA world rankings were released.

Australia are now ranked 35th in the world up 8 places from 43rd while Japan have dropped once place to be ranked 38th.

Argentina have remained as the best ranked country by extending their lead over Brazil.
