Perth Glory blew a great chance to get within striking distance of the top four by going down 2-1 against Adelaide in final match of the round.

Rukavytsya put the Glory ahead with goal at the near post during the second-half but two goals with 11 minutes to go from Adelaide cemented Perth’s spot at the foot of the ladder.

Goals from Alemao and a wrongfully awarded penalty taken by Dodd took Adelaide to the top of the A-league table.
