Kewell wants in against China

Harry Kewell has been included in the 21-man squad for the World Cup Qualifier against China in the mountain city of Kunming. This comes after reports from London that Harry Kewell asked to be released from Liverpool to line up against Singapore 4 days earlier.

Kewell has been on the outer since his return to full fitness earlier this year and has made only a handful of first-team appearances for the reds. Talk is that Harry Kewell will be on his way out of the club when his contract expires during this European summer.

He has attracted the interest of many continental European clubs and is likely to consider a move to Italy’s Serie A. Kewell will try to get as much game time as possible with the national team to give himself a chance to sign the best deal possible with any number of clubs lining up for his signature.

Harry has made 30 appearances for the Green & Gold and has scored on 9 occasions.
