Lucas Neill Move is Back on the Agenda
Galatasaray, Olympiakos and Manchester City are believed to be the front-runners interested in Socceroos captain Lucas Neill, who has rejected a one-year deal at West Ham United.
Neill, who became the Hammers’ highest-paid player when he joined them from Blackburn in 2007 for $141,000 a week, has turned down the offer of a new agreement worth $4 million a year.
Neill, 31, who is in Dubai with the Australia squad preparing for Saturday’s World Cup qualifier against Qatar remains tight-lipped on where he will be come next season but was said to be unhappy with only being offered 75% of his current wage plus only a 1-year extension.
