Melbourne Victory fail to get result against Gamba Osaka

GAMBA Osaka have taken all 3-points against an unlucky Melbourne Victory side. Brazilian super-sub Lucas put away a 90th-minute winning goal to leave the Victory with only 3 points after 3 games. Also: Adelaide 2 - 1 Binh Duong

Melbourne Victory took the lead twice during the 7-goal thriller but some poor marking allowed the Japanese team to not only equalise but find a final-minute heart breaker for the Melbourne fans.Danny Allsopp tried his best in the absence of Socceroo Archie Thompson by scoring 2 of Melbourne’s goals but it wasn’t enough. This was Osaka’s second 4-3 victory in a row in the Asian Champions League when they defeated the Chunnam Dragons of Korea.

It was Gamba’s second straight 4-3 ACL win, following a similar success against Korean side Chunnam Dragons three weeks ago.
