No case to answer for Muscat

Melbourne Victory captain Kevin Muscat has no case to answer after a confrontation with an assistant referee at half time during the A-League match between Perth and Melbourne at the weekend.

The Melbourne skipper was involved in a heated verbal exchange with referee Peter Green at the end of the first half, when assistant referee Michael Negus attempted to intervene.

Muscat appeared to push Negus away, however no action was taken at the time and because the incident did not escape the attention of the referee it thus falls outside the jurisdiction of the independent Match Review Panel.

When my family of 23 moved to that seitocn and everyone was seated, there was no way of knowing this area was reserved for the Highsteppers . We entered the row from the north end and clearly there was no rope to indicate this area was reserved. As soon as I sat down there were other parents who were talking among themselves stating we might have to move be cause the girls would be sitting there. So basically, I was already prepared to moved when that time came. All the other stuff that went on after I moved I did not hear about until after the game. I just hate the girls had to hear what happened. I am sure there are many sides to the story and I wanted to make sure that my side was told. My daughter has been a Highstepper for the last three years now and I would never do anything to embarrass her or the team. Let’s all move forward and make this a great year.

sorry about the game, but hubby called me at work to tell me “go France!”…I am enyojing while I can because we are gonna get smacked next round…These cookies….stop! They look so good, the picture is beautiful too. They remind me of “Cornes de Gazelles” from North Africa or Pecan Sandies from Charleston (minus the nuts). I’ll have to post that one soon. Finally got around to making the orange polenta cookies and they were gone as soon as they came out of the oven…
